1. Our position
We respect intellectual property rights and expect members of SavePace to do the same. The people who make things here own the things they make, and we treat that seriously. This page explains how to report infringement and what happens next.
2. How to send a notice
Send notices to our designated agent for copyright complaints:
Designated agent: Legal contact
Rights holder: Ui.e
Email: uie_com@foxmail.com
Email is fastest and is acceptable. If you need to serve a formal notice by post, using a tracked service is recommended.
3. What a notice must contain
Under 17 U.S.C. §512(c)(3) a notice must include all of the following. Incomplete notices delay us, because we cannot act on them with confidence.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you say has been infringed. If a single notice covers several works, provide a representative list.
- Identification of the material you want removed, with enough detail for us to locate it — the full URL of the post, comment, chat message or listing is ideal.
- Your name, address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or are authorised to act on the owner’s behalf.
We may forward your notice — including your contact details — to the person who posted the material, as the DMCA requires. If you would prefer your personal details not to be shared, consider using an authorised agent, or a notice under the EU/UK procedure described in section 6, which is more privacy-protective.
4. What we do
- We review every notice and may ask you for clarification.
- Valid notices lead to the material being hidden and, where appropriate, a note on the account.
- We notify the person affected, and they may file a counter-notice.
- We do not make legal determinations between parties; our role is to remove material that has been properly identified as infringing.
5. Counter-notice
If your content was removed and you believe it was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same address. It must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the removed material and where it was before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the district in which your address is located (or, if outside the United States, any judicial district in which we may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the notice.
We forward counter-notices to the original complainant, and may restore the material after 10 to 14 business days unless the complainant tells us they have filed a court action.
6. Notices from the EU and UK
You do not need to use the DMCA procedure. Under the EU Digital Services Act and UK online safety rules you can send a notice to uie_com@foxmail.com explaining, in plain language, why you believe the material is unlawful and where it is. You do not need to disclose your address or telephone number.
7. Repeat infringers
We keep a record of verified copyright complaints. An account that receives repeated verified complaints, or that posts obviously pirated material, will be suspended or permanently closed. Content removal alone is not the end of the process.
8. Trademarks and other rights
The same channels handle trademark, publicity and privacy complaints. For trademark complaints, describe the mark, the goods or services it covers, the registration number if you have one, and how you say the use is confusing or dilutive. Platform operators are covered by section 512 safe harbours for material posted by users; if you believe we are liable as the operator, tell us why in the same notice.
