1. Enforcement figures for the last 12 months

These figures are generated live from our moderation records, so they reflect the current state of the database rather than a hand-written summary.

We do not publish a breakdown by country, because at our size publishing small numbers can make individuals identifiable.

2. How decisions are made

Reports enter a queue reviewed in chronological order, with anything involving danger to a person prioritised. Every decision requires a written reason, which is recorded and can be read by the member affected and by a reviewer handling an appeal. Automated software can block clearly prohibited strings and flag borderline content; it cannot suspend or ban an account.

3. Government and law-enforcement requests

We publish the number of orders we receive and comply with once the figures are material. At present we have received no such orders. Where we are legally permitted, we notify the affected member.

4. Limitations of these figures

Figures cover the last 365 days and are not a certified audit.
A report can concern several items, and one item can be reported several times; we count reports, not items.
“Action taken” means at least one piece of content was removed or one account restricted as a result.
We have fewer than 50 staff and do not have a separate compliance department, so figures are compiled from the same records moderators work from.
